Welcome to Eagle House Holiday Let, a peaceful, private and idyllic two-bedroom apartment nestled in heart of Ivyleaf Hill, Bude, just 5 minutes’ drive from town and the Beaches.

 Stunning views, surrounded by nature and character, your stay at the apartment will continue to make your holiday something truly special after a day at one of Bude's fabulous beaches, enjoying the many independent shops or cafes that the award winning coastal town has to offer, or having a breath-taking walk along the coastline. 

We have free super-fast fibre broadband for all your Wi Fi needs and will provide details on the many local amenities and activities you could explore during your stay so you can really make the most out of your Holiday. 

Right here on Ivyleaf hilll  you have the outstanding Ivyfeaf Golf club & driving range and just across the road is the Segway & Outdoor Pursuits Centre. The Beaches of Bude are breathtaking, where you can hire surf boards, body boards and paddle boards, or book a lesson. Our location has the best of both worlds, being minutes from town and the beaches, but quiet, peaceful & surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside.

The Apartment

Eagle House Holiday Let has two spacious double bedrooms and can take up to 4 persons. It has a totally unique, bespoke bathroom with rain shower to get you feeling refreshed after your day out. 

Fully furnished and kitted out, the apartment has all you will need for a superb self-catering experience with it's jazzy retro style kitchen and large lounge/dining room with beautiful views across the valley. You can enjoy the apartment's 43" Smart TV and will have hundreds of DVDs to choose from. 

 If you would rather go out for your meals there are many fabulous restaurants, bars and bistros in and around Bude to explore and enjoy,  a full list will be in your welcome pack. There is a stunning walk to the local pub where they serve truly delicious food and a wide range of drinks, spirits and local ales.

We are proud to say we are dog friendly, but we only have the capacity for two dogs at a time. We kindly ask that you do not allow your dog friends on any of the furnishings, sofa or beds. We provide an outdoor dog shower so you can give them a rinse off after fun at the beach and dog towels will be provided.

Enjoy beautiful, peaceful views from within the apartment that continue as you go outside onto patio & BBQ area

Our large lounge and dining room is a wonderful place to relax and unwind, but for a bit of sunbathing and alfresco dining you can enjoy your own fabulous raised patio area with outdoor rattan table & chairs and enjoy the sun all day round. 

 

There is plenty of space for parking. You will be offered designated parking for two vehicles. The keys to your holiday let will be available when you check in. 

On arrival you will receive a welcome hamper and an information pack containing details about the apartment and of local restaurants, pubs, bars and local activities, there is so much to choose from! 

 

We also have body boards, and beach items available for hire. A space to hang up your wetsuits and beach clothing is provided outside, you can also use the outdoor shower hose to rinse them off so they're clean and fresh for another day of fun.

Just a few yards up the road from the apartment is the stunning Ivyleaf Golf Club & Driving range with outstanding views of the sea.

Activities

Ivyleaf Hill has its esteemed Golf course and driving range, a short distance just across the road is the Segway & Climbing centre.
Bude has a wide variety of independent shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, bistros and wine/Gin bars for you to enjoy. Surf lessons/sessions can be booked in advance and there is also Kayak & Paddle Boarding hire to have some fun and ride the waves!

About Us

A Visit to Remember

My Son Ethan and I decided to make our move to Cornwall as we’ve always felt in our hearts that it was home. Every time we had a visit to Cornwall it always felt like it should be more than a holiday one day. We made our decision to follow our dream and with much perseverance, hard work and determination we sold our house, moved down to our dream home here in Bude and started immediately to build our new holiday business. 

 

We had a vision of creating a holiday spot where people could enjoy this stunning and diverse part of Cornwall as much as we do, in great style and comfort. A great deal of thought, pride and effort went into the creation and design of Eagle House’s Holiday Let. Our aim was for something with a unique feel that would not only be smart and comfortable but fun. We proudly included fabulous items from many of the local traders and artist. 

We hope you consider us for your trip to Cornwall and let this place be the maker of your holiday memories.

Reservations & Arrivals  

Check in on the day of arrival is 3pm with Check out at 10am on the day of departure.

To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required on booking. This will be held aside in the event of any damage sustained to the apartment during your stay. If damage is sustained to the holiday let during your stay you will be liable to pay in full for repair or replacement and your deposit of £100 will be used towards repair and replacement. 

If no damage is sustained your deposit of £100 will be returned to you after you vacate and the apartment has been cleaned.

Guests are kindly asked to leave the apartment in good, clean and tidy condition. 

In quieter times of the year arrivals can be flexible, call or email to discuss.

 

If you accept and send your deposit to secure your booking this is an agreement to our terms and conditions. Provisional bookings will cancelled if the deposit is not paid within 48 hours. Payment of the total amount is due 28 days before arrival. If payment is not made you will lose your deposit and your booking dates.  

Cancellation policy & Covid-19 

Payment in full is due 28 days before your arrival. If you choose to cancel your booking up to 28 days before your arrival date you will lose your deposit. If you choose to cancel your booking less than 28 days before your arrival date you will lose your fee in full. 

Please consider arranging travel/holiday insurance.

If you find you wish to postpone or change your booking dates we will endeavour to re-accommodate an alternative booking for you, but in the event that the apartment is not available or this is not possible the above terms and conditions with regards to cancelling your booking dates will apply. 

Please note we take no responsibility for mistakes made on bookings so please check your confirmed booking dates.

The apartment will be cleaned and prepared to a high standard for your safety following the Covid-19 guest house/Air B&B rules and agreement. 

In the event that government restrictions, lockdowns or tiers are put in place that coincide with your booking date you will be refunded in full if Eagle House Holiday Let is unable to open and/or you are unable to travel. If you choose, credit will be given for a future booking date up to 12 months.

 

Personal Belongings 

Please be sure to take all your belongings with you when you leave. Eagle House Holiday Let cannot accept responsibility for anything left behind. 

Dogs 

We can only take a maximum of 2 dogs at a time. Please do not leave your dogs alone in the apartment at anytime.

We kindly ask that you do not allow your dog friends on any of the furnishings, sofa or beds. In the event that damage is sustained in the apartment by your dog you will be liable to pay for repair or replacement. Please take care to clean up after your dog, bins and bags will be provided. 

Numbers & Groups

The number of guests in the apartment must not exceed the number stipulated in the holiday let description, which is 4 people. We do provide a travel cot for babies and toddlers and in this case your child is welcomed as an additional party member. We do not accept groups of people under the age of 25. 

Complaints 

In the event that you need to place a complaint the owners must be notified immediately so that investigation or any remedial action can be taken if required. Complaints will not be accepted after you vacate the property on your day of departure. 

Accident & Injury

Eagle House Holiday Let, its owner and family that reside therein take no responsibility for any personal accident or injury sustained on the premises.  Any antisocial or destructive behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave with no refund.  

Smoking Policy 

We have a strictly no smoking policy in the apartment.
